Testimony of Beth
Hello my name is Beth, I am 40 years old.
I was born in
I had a normal childhood in that my parents were both around. I was a very outgoing
Child and always did the opposite of what my parents said. I was rebellious, and during my teenage years I fell into the wrong crowd as many teenagers do.
I got into a lot of trouble in school then quit when I was 15. Well, that created problems with the courts, so I was in several institutions, did their programs, and left. Finally
At 18 I went to Job Corps and spent 1 year in Chadron
Putting up with everything to make him happy. Well I turned to alcohol for comfort, and to ease the pain, and I liked it. I started to drink more and more everyday. Because of that I lost all four of my children. I really drank after that and lived with friends and whoever I could, and did whatever I had to. When I met guys, I would latch onto them for my alcohol habit. Then that ended me up in jail for six months, so I just totally gave up on everything. It was then that I asked God to come into my life. It was all good for awhile
Until I had that one drink, then it all started again. I had a wonderful boyfriend in my life.
Romans8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together, for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.
I have been with him for five years, and he would do anything for me. Well that wasn’t enough. I was lacking something in my life. It was then that I almost drank myself to death. I had lost everything and money was gone. I heard about the New Life Program
Then by Gods hand he led me to the Rescue Mission. I evaluated it, and talked to some people about it. I was very impressed, so I joined, well and I have been in the program since January 23, 2008. I have accepted God into my life with open arms, and he has taken me into his arms. Now I know the emptiness in my heart was my need for him.
He has started to mold me into a devoted Christian, and I have been amazed by some of the things I have learned. I am already a citizen of heaven, Isn’t that so cool!!!!!!
I want to glorify him in everything I do. I will never be perfect but I can learn more and more everyday with God by my side. He has led me to a place of hope in my life as long as I keep praying to him. I am sober today by the grace of the mighty God. I crave it a lot, but as long as I know I can ask him to help me I am fine with that all I had to do was accept him it was just that easy. Life is good...

Who Am I In Christ
I am a woman who was not a firm believer but just, what my mother and father told me. My Sunday school teacher believed the same as my parents. I didn't really know who Jesus was or the whole concept of Him dying for my sins, that was mind boggling to me that someone who doesn't even know me would send his only son to die for me! WOW He is truly the amazing and almighty, I can't still get over that he knew us before we were even born! But it is the truth .He was put into human body form for all to see and teach the word of the Kings of all Kings and go through life for everyone but himself, suffering many tragic ordeals yet he never sinned not once or used foul language or thought bad of anyone. That really showed me how compassionate and loving he really is. He never took revenge on anyone for the way they treated Him and thought He was not the Messiah. I have come to learn that all the pain and suffering He did was for me. People ask me are you going to heaven? I can answer them with perfect content and say yes I am. I fully understand why and how that option was given to me. One important thing is that you will never lose your salvation no matter how much you stumble. He knows you will stumble on your journey cause everyone does no one is perfect! As long as I have him by my side I am fully content, because I know when problems arise He is always by my side. He will give me the strength to get through anything. There is one thing Jesus wants us to really try and do be obedient to love my brother and sister in Christ. That is a very strong point in his word. I want to be obedient to Him and in all I do to glorify hhn in all I do, kind of like if you love your child you would do anything humanly possible for that child. That is kind of the way I look at the Lord. I am not perfect but I can learn to be more and more obedient day by day as I'm learning more and
more. I have realized that life is all about choices so when it comes down to it, without the Lord or him choosing us we would all be condemned and thrown into the lake of fire of hell for all eternity. But He chose me to be with him forever in his kingdom He has prepared a mansion for me in heaven. John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. And I am eternally grateful for all He gives me. With what I have learned I know their isn't anything that will come my way that I can't handle as long as I have the Lord to talk to. Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together, for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose. I have learned a lot in my classes I have had; some things are truly amazing! But also other classes are more complicated to me, but all in all God chose me, and that is the main thing. I personally think that one in particular verse stands out in my mind and it is John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
