Helping the Hurting and the Homeless in the Name of Jesus Christ!

March 2017
  Greetings Ted,
See What’s Happening at the Mission

 A WORD FROM TED
Jesus knew that serving people at the Mission would be very painful at times. Jesus is Lord! When the brokenness of this world overwhelms us like a tsunami, leaving behind its devastation and mess, Jesus is Lord! Faith in Him leaves us in a wonderful position to trust Him, and then of our necessity, cast our burden on Him, because Jesus is Lord.
We are thankful that He does change people. We get to hear some of  the most amazing stories of His miraculous work and, just recently, were personal witnesses to His giving a family the good desires of their hearts. It was better than the best Christmas ever!
Want to see some miracles for yourself? Come on over and hang out at the Mission. He won’t disappoint you. Jesus is Lord!
We need your help this month, will you help us?

HAPPENINGS WITH HAWK

From the heart of Chaplain Hawk: The Living Water Rescue Mission is located not far from the I-80 Interstate which places us in position to help a lot of people who get stranded for a number of reasons. Imagine you and your family going across country when everything comes to a halt. You are stranded and hope is all but gone. You have no money as it is all being used to get you back on the road. Things look bleak. Then comes hope in the form of the Living Water Rescue Mission. We are the help if you need it. Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble.”No one comes here by accident. They are brought here for a reason. The Gospel is still that reason. Once again thank you for your love and support of this Ministry of Rescue. You are truly making a difference in the lives of many.

Ephesians 1:7-8 He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

 THE NEW LIFE PROGRAM –
Nathan Joslin

“For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2

The Lord has continued to bless the New Life Program since our last newsletter.  We recently had two new disciples come into the program and they are very excited about learning more about that which is of utmost importance, Jesus Christ and Him crucified. For it is in Him that we find all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:3). What a blessing it is know and serve the risen Lord! We thank you for you for your continued prayers for the men of the New Life Program. Please pray that the men would continue to grow in their love for the truth and that they would grow in their hunger and thirst for righteousness as they seek to learn the depths of the Gospel and experience the transformation that comes through a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
