Jeremiah’s Testimony

Jeremiah came to the Columbus Rescue Mission following a six month jail sentence. His time in jail was nothing new to Jeremiah since he had been in and out of jail since he was a young lad. However, this time it was different. This time he heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and, in front of all his peers during a Monday night worship and study time, Jeremiah stood up and professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Immediately following his release, Jeremiah entered the New Life Program at the Mission. He studied hard and completed all his assignments and rapidly advanced through the various phases. He also dealt with past accrued debt issues; court accrued debt, and shattered past relationships with his family. God has performed an awesome work in Jeremiah. He now holds a steady job and is advancing to the Final Phase of the New Life Program. He soon will be eligible for graduation, and plans to enroll in college and start a new walk with the Lord. Jeremiah is a testimony of a man who has indeed truly given his life over to the Lord. Update. Jeremiah is doing well. Since Jeremiah graduated he has gotten married and has a new baby boy, and a career with a local company.
